Perfect Pair

(Marino Carlini)

Everybody knows about the two we do and they never ever saw I had a crush on you,

I wanna do you, yes, I wanna do you. I wanna do you.

Every ite thing you're bout to do to me are the kind of doin' that Iike to see

I wanna do you, I wanna do you. I wanna do you.

Oh, Baby we're a perfect pair

Oh, Baby, love you to be there.

Oh, Baby, I love to love you and being in love.

Baby, I don't wanna be your No. 2, so won't you gimme all your

special things you love to do

I wanna do you, 'cos I wanna do you, l wanna do you

Across The Border
(Marino Carlini)

Everybody come across the border, dream to find a new home around.

They’ve been looking for a place in order to keep their family save and sound.

A long lost distant melody (where the heart lies buried down in the deep),

reminds them of a home too far to see, for you, for me (Memories will keep as a treasure - of the story of their ancestry).

Needed to flee from rape and murder, living a life as a refugee.

They’re still be pushed to go further, no rest on the place they wanted to be.

The crowd that offend them all constantly, (Humanity lies buried down in the deep),

reminds them of a home too far to see, for you and for me (always on the run for their lives - it’s the story of our policy).

Everyone together, bless the people with love!

Let’s be one forever, cos’ one world’s enough!

Everybody come across the border, pushed and beaten from all around.

Treating like they cause a disorder. All they want is a home to found.

A long lost distant melody …

Everyone together, bless the people with love!

Let’s be one forever, cos’ one world’s enough!

You're Mine
(Marino Carlini)

Do you know if I'd go, that would be the craziest thing that I could do.

But you know, if you'd go, that would be even crazier than this crazy thing I'd do.

Every little thing, every dirty look, every word that you could say,

would be even worse than what I could ever do to you If you would go away.

And I say you're mine, I know you're mine.

There are a 100.000 things that show that we belong together, so let's be fine.

and say you're mine, and you admit that you're mine.

As I said, you're my pet, means you're the one and only little girl for me

So don't be sad, don't be mad, and give a little sign to make it up to you and me

And I say you're mine, I know you're mine ...

and say you're mine, and you admit that you're mine.

I said you're mine, yes, you are mine!

I would never ever let you go, that's why I seriously tell you just stay in line,

cause you are mine, yes, you are mine! You will be mine, forever mine ...!

I'll Be Your Friend
(Marino Carlini)

If you are trembling 'n' your knees start to bend,

if you feel lonely, I'll give you my hand!

we'll be united, one by one again, we'll stand together, I'll be your friend!

Come along and tell me what keeps you awake.

because I'm at your side whatever it may take.

I am the one who will ease your pain,

I'm the one who will make you'll never feel the same.

Oh, you know, Oh you know,

If you're in trouble, grab your phone, don't hesitate.

you know there's someone, It will never be too late.

Don't mess with your demons inside,

with your friends the path could be so wide.

Oh, I know, Oh, I know,

If you are trembling …

If it gets cold and dark, let me be your light,

if you feel weak, I take over your fight.

You lost your kin and looking for new land,

If you need help, I'll be your friend.

The Little One
(Marino Carlini)

I open the door, I'm ready for more, it's time to make a change

All our fights, the tears that you cried, let's start to rearrange.

You go your way and I go mine, you see it's time

don't you realize that it's just the final end of our line.

Life’s too short, so don’t get caught by the little one, yeah.

Been waiting so long, I can’t see no wrong,

to leave the little one, yeah, the little one.

Open up your mind and see what you can find,

unless you can't avoid to look behind.

You said what you said and I said what I said, we can't undo our past

You did what you did and I did what I did, our love wasn't ment to last.

Gunslinger
(Marino Carlini)

No doubt that I ain’t gonna fail,

seven bullets on a bourbon-colored rocking chair.

Be the one who's gonna tell the tale

Messing up with the seven men, who will be there.

If you can see the signs, that hang upon everyone

in this town ruled by them.

Being cool, one of the raging kind,

My eyes are staring and my hands for them are way too fast

Moving slow and I'm shooting blind,

'cause I am the future and I'm sure they will be gone at last.

Four left, and still they're standing,

in their hands a loaded gun.

Eight eyes ain't never trembling

in a world of "to be or gone", you have to be the one.

A steady hand and a rigid face

One by one, I won't let them have a chance to live

Eating dust on that lonely place

Lead and blood, will be all what I ever have to give.

No More Pennies
(Marino Carlini)

No more pennies for the wishing well, it's the devil, who rings the bell.

So it's our soul we're about to sell. Too numb to hear that yell,

we don't recognize, we just tell, so one day we all will meet in hell.

So many wasted lives  in so many centuries,

since we started as a human cell,

but now we have no pennies left for the wishing well.

25
(Marino Carlini)

Born into the working class, raised among the dead.

No hope, no chance, no education for his empty-minded head

He turned around in orders, doing what he’d been said,

No way to take his destiny in his own two hands.

Burning out, a given-up, a loser on the stand.

He was 25, 25, 25 (He was only 25).

Been told to be a man some day, a member of the brave.

He was struggling for his sanity, a lost soul to be saved.

Recognized the lonely gap between schoolyard and the grave.

A growing up and a living dead and not prepared for a life

A lonely man put in the world, afraid of the dive.

He was 25, 25, 25 (He was only 25)

No money in his wallet, no woman at his side,

facing a life of poverty and a lifelong constant fight.

So he tried to realize his dreams with a gunshot in the night.

Police says, that he had no chance, as they came around.

His dream finally ended there, with his face down in the ground.

Next day’s paper’s headline said,

„one’s been killed last night”, died at 25.

He was 25, 25, just 25 - he died at 25, 25, 25 (He was only 25)

Destiny
(Marino Carlini)

Two young lovers went to a stationary chill

to find a higher level of their personally drill

Deadman in a one-horse-town never had the courage to give up that ground, „I leave it, leave it!“, he told me,

but through the mist on his old mind he could not see.

It's random for your life, but it's the path to your ....

Destiny, you're gonna be my history,

you can make me a wanna-be

or the one, the only one who's setting me … free.

Two old people try to manage their own live

a perfect combination of a greybeard and his wife.

T-birds on the Radio, I didn't wanna blame you for that morning show

"Louder, louder!", she yelled at me, I ain't in good condition for a breaking free.

It's random for your life, but it's the path to your ….

Something You Didn't Understand
(Marino Carlini)

You always have been the clown all around,

cheered up every down you had found.

But now I know it was all just a fake,

and it led into a bitter mistake, I know it was a bitter mistake.

And now I realize, that life was something you didn't understand,

oh, life was something you didn't understand.

Breaking Out
(Marino Carlini)

See me, before I lose my soul, down the rabbit hole, that I've trapped myself in. Oh, I wanna go home.

Call me, I can't hear you in the mist, I fear to take the risk to leave my old self, come on, I wanna go home.

No need to be proud! Shout out loud! It's all about: Breaking out!

Tell me to turn on my worn out mind, let's see what we can find, if there is still something, come on, let me go home!

Touch me, I can use someone who's real, anybody I can feel, to get back my wings, come on, let me go home!

No need to be proud! Shout out loud! It's all about: Breaking out!

Song To My Father (One More Time Again)
(Marino Carlini)

Was just an 18 year old boy,  stood there on the edge of being a man.

Like a wild horse on the pasture of life, that began.

No skills for the way I had to go and what this life is all about.

Not quite ready yet, a grown up child, lazy and loud.

Wasn't ready to go that dusty road.

Life was a questionnaire with choices for your load.

Lost the guide to life, so I ran to find my way,

the way to be a man, to do the best I can,

but I would have loved to talk to you again

I would have love to talk to you one more time again.

Now the kids have been grown up, they didn't never ever met you,

I was there to tell them, what you didn't get the chance to do.

And now I'm older than you ever were and it's still father and son

I wonder what you would have told me and what I should have done.

I guess, you'd have smiled at me and said:

"Life, my son, it's just the sum of all the love you get."

There no guide to life, there's only love to give

That's the only clue, the rest is up to you."

But I would have loved to talk to you again,

I would have love to talk to you one more time again.

They Call It Glory
(Marino Carlini)

"Everybody has his quarter of an hour",

but they're just another face on the telly live on RTL.

Purple colored satin, Glitter in her hair

and every little boy who plucks his eyebrows

is looking pretty well.

And on it goes, You want one of those.

They call it glory.

Like warriors on the run, determined and ready to kill

They call it glory.

that bit of embarrassment is brought to you by your will.

And here we are, that's the story!

Evening time is the colosseum fun

and commercials interrupting an exciting cynical game.

Looking nice and cute, show your muscles, be interesting,

and next season they try to hold onto their vanishing fame.

And on it goes ...

B-U-S-I-N-E-S-S as usual as usual!

They call it glory.

Like warriors on the run, determined and ready to kill

They call it glory and it’s still your will!

Child
(Marino Carlini)

It's gonna be me, it's gonna be you.

It's gonna be everybody ever met him, too.

If you gotta be true, you gotta admit,

it happens to all the people,

moved by just one smile of his face,

that's all it takes to be hooked on that very kid.
